About the program
«UMS Aurora» is a medical information system (МIS), developed in view of the European experience of automation and management of medical institutions which represents a ready solution for automating work of general practitioners, private clinics, municipal medical establishments and a network of medical institutions.
Uniqueness of the System is based on the use of web-technologies and an opportunity to create a unified information field for a medical institution, city and the whole region.
The system «UMS Aurora» is intended for comprehensive solution of the following tasks facing medical institutions:
- Analysis, planning and control of medical institution’s activity
- Keeping a unified patients database
- Personified account of incoming and outgoing cash flows while rendering medical services (including target and insurance programs)
- Writing out preferential prescriptions (for special groups of patients) and accounting on the system of additional pharmacological support
- Account and control over utilization of medical preparations and materials
- Economy of time and staff labor costs on paper work and acceleration of medical-diagnostic process
- Analysis and quality assurance of rendering medical services
- Standardization of inner medical documentation in medical and prophylactic institutions (MPI)
- Archiving the data about patients and activity of a medical institution
- Up-to-date information security, keeping a closed database on different groups of patients
- Interaction of all business processes in MPI in the unified system while keeping uniform registers, directories and databases
- Advanced information securing
- Keeping Electronic Medical Cards (EMC) of patients
- On-line interaction with foreign organizations (including insurance companies, other MPIs, remote laboratories and other establishments in the system of public health care)
- Reporting to pharmaceutical organizations and health authorities (Fund of obligatory medical insurance, city and region departments of public health care), including special reports on the National Health project.
«UMS Aurora» uses advanced technologies of Microsoft Company in software development and data storage. Such approach allows to use information system in any scale from a single task automation in a medical organization to arrangement of Uniform Information Space on the territory of city/region/state.
